BANGOR – Kathleen Michele Parker, 62, wife of Paul D. Parker, died Dec. 14, 2013, after a brief illness. She was born May 29, 1951, in Bangor, the daughter of Millard C. and Kathleen F. (Delaney) Spencer, and the stepdaughter of Kenneth Crabb whom helped raise her after her father died while she was very young and to whom she was very close.
Michele, as she was known, worked most of her life in various customer service positions in retail and banking and early on worked in the shoe manufacturing industry. She enjoyed doing cross stitch, was an avid candlepin bowler for many years, loved her cats and was a devout Red Sox fan.
Surviving in addition to her husband of 40 years of Bangor are two sons, Thomas Parker and his wife, Shenanne, of Dover, N.H., and Adam Parker and his wife, Tiffany, of Shrewsbury, Mass.; three grandchildren, Isaac, Kaley, and Kari Parker all of Dover, N.H.; one brother, Millard Spencer and his wife, Mary, of Sebago; one sister, Jackie DeLloyd of Magalia, Calif.; and in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was also survived by a son, Patrick Spencer of Florida.
Family and friends may visit 5-7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20, at Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 299 Union St., Bangor.
