WALTHAM – Sandra Jean Jordan, 71, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Dec. 16, 2013, at an Ellsworth health care facility, following a valiant battle with multiple myeloma. She was born on July 26, 1942, in Bangor, the daughter of George Sr. and Beulah (Meservey) Pickard.
She attended Franklin school and Ellsworth High School. She was a homemaker, a member of the Eastbrook Baptist Church where she greatly enjoyed the music, and a long time devoted superintendent of the Waltham Baptist Sunday School where she had perfect attendance for 29 years.
Survivors are her husband of 50 years, Thomas Jordan Sr. of Waltham; five children, Cynthia and her husband, Paul J. Davis, of Ellsworth, Gloria Spurling of Hancock, Thomas Jr. and his wife, Dyana Jordan, of Port Charlotte, Fla., Darlene and her husband, Caryl DeLeon, of Trinidad, and Madalyn Jordan of Waltham; one brother, George Pickard Jr. of Franklin; two sisters, Patricia Bruenn and Judith Jellison, both of Franklin; eight grandchildren, Stephanie and Christopher Davis, Gregory Spurling II, Karen Kane, Dylan and Dykoda Jordan, Kaitlyn Singh, and Mia Gordon; six great-grandchildren, Kayli, Paisley, Lucas, Caydence, Trinity, and MacKenzie; and nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was predeceased by her parents and one sister, Marlene Tracy.
