WEST ENFIELD – Lucien L. Dube, 74, died unexpectedly January 2, 2014.
Lucien led a wonderful life with his family. He loved the outdoors and spent many happy hours flying his plane. He enjoyed spending time in his hometown of Eagle Lake, where his family home is. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, 4th Degree, and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Lucien spent his entire life working in the woods and ended his employment as a dedicated employee at Prentiss and Carlisle.
He is survived by his wife, Pauline; five children, Diane Dube, Michael Dube, Freda Nadeau and husband, Chad, Michelle Ireland and husband, Roger and Lucien Dube and wife, Kim; six siblings, Roland Dube and wife Gaetane, Claire Gagnon, Norma Torza and husband, Bob, Delores Paradis, Donald Dube and Jean Dube; nine grandchildren, Dustin and Katie, Devin and Macy, Matt, Cameron, Jake, Erika, Austin, Nick and Kelly; four great-granchildren, Natalie, Griffin, Kaelyn and Olivia; special nephew, Wesley Dube and his family; many other nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Lionel Dube and James Dube; and two sisters, Marie Dube and Nannette Dube.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday, January 6, at St. Leo Catholic Church, Howland, with the Rev. James MacGee officiating. Spring interment will be in St Matthew Cemetery, West Enfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the American Heart Association, 51 US Route 1, Suite M, Scarborough, ME 04074.
