PORTLAND, Maine — A Windham man will spend the next three years behind bars after he was sentenced Tuesday on a child porn charge.
Paul Liming, 65, will also have 10 years of supervised release tacked onto his sentence, according to the U.S. Attorney’s office.
Liming was sentenced by Justice Nancy Torresen in U.S. District Court. He pled guilty on Jan. 4.
Court documents indicate Liming brought his computer to a Best Buy in South Portland asking for assistance in recovering data from the hard drive, and a technician discovered several files believed to be child pornography.
An investigation by the FBI revealed more than 600 images and 200 videos containing child porn. Despite Liming having no previous criminal record, the three-year sentence was imposed due to the seriousness of the crime.
