OTIS – Brandon L. Salisbury, 56, passed away peacefully Jan. 29, 2014, at a Bangor hospital, surrounded by family and close friends. He was born Jan. 5, 1958, in Bangor, the son of Lawrence and Vivian Salisbury.
Brandon graduated from Ellsworth High School, class of 1976. Brandon worked a variety of jobs in his younger years, including hauling blueberries. He loved his flower gardens and treasured his many pets. Brandon was a dedicated son, father, brother, uncle, and friend.
He was predeceased by his brother, Stephen; and sister, Kathy. Surviving in addition to his parents are his son, Tyler, the apple of his eye; his brother, Michael Salisbury and his wife, Laura, of Otis; his sister, Joyce Spencer and her husband, Harry, of Otis; special friends, George Milliken and his wife Dawn; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A celebration of Brandon’s life will be held 2-4 p.m. Feb. 8, at the VFW Hall, 419 Main St., Ellsworth. Those who desire to remember Brandon in a special way may make gifts in his memory for his son, Tyler’s benefit to Joyce Spencer, 21 Oak Hill Road, Otis, ME 04605. There will be a graveside committal in the Spring.
