ROCKLAND, Maine — The local developers of a proposed hotel on Rockland’s waterfront will host a neighborhood meeting Wednesday evening.
The meeting is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. at the former Amalfi Restaurant located on the property at 12 Water St.
Stuart and Marianne Smith have proposed the construction of a four-story hotel on their Rockland Harbor Park LLC property. The $6.5 million project calls for 65 rooms.
“This meeting will be a great opportunity to meet the family proposing the project and allow neighbors and residents to share their questions about the proposal,” the Stuarts stated in their notice of the meeting.
