BUCKFIELD, Maine — State Police are seeking information regarding alleged break-ins in Buckfield and Bethel that occurred early Sunday morning.
The suspect involved also appeared to be driving a silver Kia Soul SUV, according to Trooper Tyler Stevenson.
About two hours before a break-in was reported at the Buckfield Mall convenience store, a similar vehicle was involved in a break-in at the Big Apple convenience store in Bethel, Stevenson said.
The Bethel incident is being investigated by Oxford County sheriff’s deputies.
The male suspect was wearing what appeared to be a hooded jacket and was carrying a backpack. The white male stands 5 feet, 10 inches tall and is described as stocky.
Anyone with information on the break-ins should call Stevenson at the Gray state police barracks at 657-3030.
