BUXTON, Maine — The third person wanted for a violent home invasion in Buxton on April 11 has turned himself in to police.

Michael Crockett Jr., 30, surrendered at the York County Jail around 9:30 p.m. Sunday.

Police have been looking for Crockett since Thursday, when they issued a warrant for his arrest on robbery as aggravated assault charges.

Investigators say Crockett, of Buxton, along with Gregory Hoar and Stacy Day, attacked 60-year-old Deborah Nielsen when she came home on a Friday night to find the three in her house.

Chief Michael Grovo said they hit her on the head, tied her up, and left her on the floor.

Hoar and Day were arrested Friday.

Crockett’s lawyer tells CBS 13 News he is innocent.
