GUILFORD — Nate Burns stroked a double, two singles and drove in three runs to power the Piscataquis Community Pirates to a 13-5 high school baseball victory over the Dexter Tigers Wednesday.
Spencer Martell singled twice with an RBI, Jeremy Bell posted two singles and scored three times, Cody White singled and doubled with two RBIs and Christian Mumley added two singles and an RBI for Piscataquis (4-12)..
Zach Pratt (2 RBIs) and Tristan French (RBI) each doubled to support Ben Pratt, who scattered five hits.
Brayden Miller (RBI) singled twice for 4-12 Dexter and Jacob Sinclair had a single and two runs scored. Josh Smith singled and knocked in a run.

At East Sullivan, Asher Bowden shut down the Tigers, going the distance while allowing just 3 hits and striking out 10.
Bowden also helped Bucksport at the plate with a double, two singles and two runs batted in. Tyler Maguire singled three times and drove in a run.
For Sumner, Kody Croan doubled and singled while Cole Hurlbert singled and scored the run.

At Old Town on Tuesday, pitcher Tyler Beaton recorded the victory for the Hawks and aided his own cause by going 3 for 3 with a double and two singles.
Connor Farmer chipped in with a double, single and two runs.
Eric Hoogterp paced Old Town with a single and double while D.J. Monteith added two singles.

At Houlton, Ryan Dee pitched a shutout, allowing two hits and striking out six batters to pace the Shiretowners to the win. Jake Drew led the offense with three RBI’s.
Gage Hunt, Ethan Bouchard, Dan Howe and Jake Drew each scored two runs.
Riley Coburn had both hits for Mattanawcook, including a triple.

At Caribou, Matt Milliard tripled and Cody Herbert doubled to lead the Vikings offense to the win.

Both Caribou’s Matt Curry and PI’s Saul Nunez pitched a complete game with Curry striking out five and not walking a batter. Both allowed just five hits.

Alex Speed had two hits for Piscataquis Community of Guilford while Courtney Richardson and Delani Bennett each doubled and drove in a run. Richardson scattered eight hits, striking out 2 and walking none.

Nicole Olson knocked in two runs with two singles and a double to pace Washburn. Taylor Howe singled twice.

Caribou was paced by Morgan Outing’s two doubles, a triple by Maddy Staples and a double from Adrianna Bither. Rachel Soucy went the distance, striking out 8.
