EXETER, Maine — A 23-year-old man was arrested early Saturday morning after police received numerous complaints about a party he was hosting.

Joel Perrier is facing a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct, according to State Trooper Steve Morrell.

Morrell said the party was held under a tent in a big field off the Exeter Road.

Police originally were called around midnight, and Perrier was issued a warning for disorderly conduct.

Police were called to the scene again about three hours later, and Perrier was arrested.

Morrell estimated about 60 to 80 people were at the party, which included a disc jockey and a number of different performers, the trooper said.

No others were charged, Morrell said.
