The Bangor Daily News has been a huge supporter of the American Folk Festival, Friday through Saturday, Aug. 22-24, on the Bangor waterfront, since day one here in Bangor. Not just by being a major sponsor but also creating the festival’s yearly logo, promotional materials and program guide.
This year is no exception and the Bangor Daily continues to work for an even stronger bond. “This year we are really excited to bring a new promotion to the Folk Festival,” said Pat Lemieux, media subscriptions and promotions manager for the Bangor Daily News. “For the first time, we are giving people a voucher for a free Folk Festival artist CD at the CD tent when they buy a subscription to the Bangor Daily News. It’s the music you love and the news you need, both in your home.”
Patrons of the Folk Festival may stop by the Bangor Daily News booth, purchase a new subscription and instantly receive a voucher to be used to acquire an artist CD of their choice.
