AUGUSTA, Maine — A Riverview Psychiatric Center patient was charged with aggravated assault after he allegedly hit a nurse with a chair, according to Kennebec County District Attorney Meaghan Maloney.
Maloney said the nurse was taken to the hospital after the incident involving Frank Stewart, 23, occurred on Saturday. She said a victim’s advocate has tried to make contact with the nurse but had not yet been successful so she did not know the nurse’s condition on Monday evening.
Bail was set for Steward, who was born in Biddeford, at $15,000 in Kennebec County and Stewart is to have no contact with the victim, Maloney said.
