SCARBOROUGH, Maine — A Scarborough High School student has been arrested on charges that he allegedly carried a concealed weapon and trafficked in in dangerous knives.
Police say a bus driver was notified by students Tuesday morning that 18-year-old Jonathan Germano was in possession of a knife on the bus and appeared to be sharpening it.
Germano was later identified and pulled from his classroom.
Police said they found a spring-loaded switchblade and a black K-Bar style knife on Germano.
