PITTSTON, Maine — A woman’s body was pulled from the Kennebec River on Saturday afternoon in Pittston, police said.
The adult woman’s body was recovered from the river using boats from the Gardiner Fire Department and the Kennebec County Sheriff’s Office.
The body was taken to the medical examiner’s office. Police said they have a couple of leads on her identity, but her name will not be released until next of kin are notified.
