AUGUSTA, Maine — Six people were charged early Sunday as Augusta police broke up a party where underage drinking was occurring.

Deputy Chief Jared Mills said police were dispatched to a Cummings Road residence shortly after 1 a.m. after receiving a noise complaint.

Officers made contact with the person hosting the party, Allyssa Marson, 21, of Augusta, and learned that underage drinking had been taking place, Mills said.

No arrests were made, Mills said, but Marson was summoned for providing a place for minors to consume liquor.

Police also summoned Dylane Saylor, 19; Brandon St. Michael, 19; Jaclyn Mulholland, 19, all of Augusta; Bronson Kieltyka, 18, of Monmouth and Marshall Mclaughlin, 18, of Orono, on a charge of consuming alcohol as minors, Mills said.

All six have a Nov. 12 court date in Augusta District Court.
