YARMOUTH, Maine — An 80-year-old Yarmouth man, who suffers from dementia, was located Monday afternoon after state and local officials asked the public to help in the search.
John Libby, who lives at Bay Square senior living facility on Forest Falls Drive, off Route 1, was found “alive and well,” according to a release issued just after 2 p.m. Monday.
Libby had last been seen at approximately 2 a.m. Sunday, according to a release from Yarmouth Police Officer Roger Moore.
Police and game wardens searched the area around Forest Falls Drive, which is near the Royal River.
No further information was immediately available.
