GLENBURN, Maine — An Eddington man was arrested earlier this month after a large amount of drugs was found in his vehicle during a traffic stop on Route 15 in Glenburn, state police said.

Michael Harris, 50, had been pulled over by Trooper Tucker Bonnevie for a defective headlight at around 7:30 p.m. Oct. 8, according to Lt. Sean Hashey.

While speaking with Harris, the trooper suspected the presence of drugs, and a subsequent search revealed 350 oxycodone pills, as well as methadone and suboxone, Hashey said.

In addition, a large amount of processed marijuana and more than $10,000 in cash was found, Hashey said. The drugs have a street value of about $15,000.

Harris was charged with unlawful trafficking of scheduled drugs, unlawful possession of scheduled drugs and possession of marijuana, Hashey said.
