BANGOR, Maine — Crews from Emera Maine are attempting to restore power after a Wednesday night outage in Caribou, likely related to the severe storms moving through the area.
About 1,358 customers in Aroostook and Hancock counties are affected, Emera Maine spokesman Bob Potts said in an alert issued Wednesday night.
Potts said the outage occurred about 8:30 p.m. He said repair workers were attempting to restore power as safely and quickly as possible.
The estimated time for restoration of electrical service is 10 p.m.
