BANGOR, Maine Desir’ee Hamler notched a goal and assist and Anna Wolterbeek made eight saves to lead Husson University to a 4-0 women’s soccer win over the University of Maine-Presque Isle on Wednesday evening at Boucher Field.

Leah Hibbad scored off a Mollie Roy assist, Katey Curtis converted a pass from Hamler and Brooke LaBelle capped the scoring for the 11-7 Eagles.

Allison Lopez made 18 saves for the Owls (3-11).

Colby 2, Bates 1

At Waterville, Emily Martin scored her first collegiate goal off a throw-in by Maddie Tight at 33:21 of the first half, lifting the Mules to victory and into the NESCAC playoffs.

Cami Notaro scored the other goal for Colby (7-7-1, 3-6-1 NESCAC), which received four saves from Emily Brook.

Julia Rosen scored for Bates College of Lewiston (7-8, 3-7 NESCAC). Sarah McCarthy made three saves.
