BANGOR, Maine — Police are looking to identify a person of interest who they believe damaged a canopy at a local hospital.

Bangor police Sgt. Tim Cotton said in a brief statement the damage to the canopy at St. Joseph Hospital was caused by a motor vehicle.

The person in the photograph police released may be connected to that vehicle, and Cotton said officers want to speak with her.

Police are asking the public for help in identifying the person in the photo. If you recognize the person in the photo, police are urging you to call the department’s tip line at 947-7384, ext. 6, or call the station directly and ask for Officer Polk.
