Jason R. Jones, 27, was arrested Monday by Sgt. Lance Mitchell and Deputy Arthur Smith of the Knox County Sheriff’s Office after the officers conducted a routine bail check at Jones’ residence, according to Chief Deputy Tim Carroll.
Jones was charged with felony possession of drugs, possession of illegal mushrooms, felony trafficking in marijuana and violation of a condition of release.
During the bail check of Jones’ residence, deputies found more than two pounds of marijuana evidence of trafficking in marijuana, hallucinogenic mushrooms, Vicodin and more than $6,700 in cash.
