BANGOR, Maine — Emilee Daley scored four points during a pivotal 11-0 run in overtime to lead Boston College to a 90-80 women’s basketball victory over Brown in the first round of the Black Bear Thanksgiving Classic at the Cross Insurance Center.

Boston College (4-1) faces tournament host UMaine in Sunday’s 1 p.m. contest. The event was changed to a three-team, three day tourney after Wright State could not make the trip to Bangor because of travel issues caused by Wednesday’s snowstorm.

On Friday, Nicole Boudreau’s 18 points and six rebounds paced the Eagles, who led by 14 points at halftime only to have Brown (1-4) respond with a 15-2 run in the second half.

Kelly Hughes posted 17 points, five rebounds and three assists for Boston College, while Daley finished with 15 points and three assists and Ashley Kelsick contributed 10 points, nine assists and two steals.

The Eagles went 12-for-25 (48 percent) from the 3-point arc.

Jordan Alexander poured in a game-high 23 points and posted five assists and three steals to lead the Bears. Sophie Bikofsky tossed in 20 points with nine rebounds, Ellise Sharpe tallied 15 points and Janie White added 13 points.

Men’s Basketball

Eastern Nazarene 74, Colby 68

At Boston, Jaylen Owens scored 20 points and Eastern Nazarene erased a 15-point, first-half deficit to beat Colby in the Harbor Invitational hosted by UMass Boston.

Eric Lynch scored 17 points, Alex Jarman posted 13 and Corey Doran added 11 for the undefeated Lions (6-0).

Chris Hudnut paced Colby College of Waterville (4-2) with 25 points, while Ryan Jann netted 14 and Connor O’Neil added 10.

Butler 64, Georgetown 58

Kellen Dunham led the way with 16 points as the Bulldogs held off the Hoyas in the third-place game of the Battle 4 Atlantis at Paradise Island, Bahamas.

Alex Barlow contributed 11 points and two steals for Butler (5-1), which beat sixth-ranked North Carolina in the first round before losing to No. 21 Oklahoma in the semifinals. Freshman Kelan Martin had 10 points and Andrew Chrabascz added nine for the Bulldogs.

Freshman Isaac Copeland recorded a season-high 16 points on 7-of-10 shooting for Georgetown (4-2), which went 10-of-19 at the free-throw line. Freshman Paul White had a season-high 13 points and D’Vauntes Smith-Rivera chipped in with 12 after scoring 29 in the semifinal loss to No. 3 Wisconsin.

Baylor 71, Memphis 47

Taurean Prince scored 14 of his 20 points in the second half and the Bears held the Tigers to 15 points after the break in the semifinals of the Las Vegas Invitational.

Royce O’Neale added 16 points and six rebounds for Baylor (5-0), which meets Illinois in Friday’s championship game. The Bears, who also received eight points and 11 rebounds from Rico Gathers, outrebounded Memphis 43-32 — 29-12 in the second half — and 19-11 on the offensive glass.

The Tigers settle for a consolation game against Indiana State on Friday after missing 17 of their 21 shots from the field in the second half. Pookie Powell scored 13 points while Austin Nichols recorded nine points and six rebounds for Memphis (1-2).

Illinois 88, Indiana State 62

Rayvonte Rice recorded 21 points, seven rebounds and a tied a career high with five steals as the Fighting Illini routed the Sycamores in the semifinals of the Las Vegas Invitational.

Malcolm Hill contributed a career-high 17 points and eight rebounds for Illinois (5-0), which faces Baylor in Friday’s championship game. The Illini’s Aaron Cosby added 10 points, eight rebounds and four assists while Nnanna Egwu scored all 10 of his points in the first half.

Illinois, which entered the game leading the country in scoring at 97.5 points per game, also turned in a strong defensive performance with 15 steals. Grant Prusator scored a career-high 17 points for Indiana State (3-2), which meets Memphis in Friday’s consolation contest.

Illinois made its first five shots from the field while racing to a 12-3 lead and unleashed an 18-2 run — highlighted by a pair of Egwu 3-pointers — to move ahead 30-8 in less than 12 minutes. The Illini led by as many as 25 before settling for a 41-20 advantage at the break as Egwu made all four of his shots from the field.

Ohio State 73, James Madison 56

Sam Thompson collected 13 points and six rebounds as the Buckeyes cruised past the visiting Dukes.

Freshman D’Angelo Russell added 14 points and Shannon Scott collected six assists and five steals to go with seven points as Ohio State (5-0) remained undefeated. Amir Williams recorded seven points, nine rebounds and three blocks for the Buckeyes.

Andre Nation scored 15 points off the bench to lead James Madison (4-2), which was trying to secure its first five-game winning streak since March 2013. Yohanny Dalembert scored 14 points on 6-of-6 shooting and Winston Grays added 10 for the Dukes.
