BUXTON, Maine — A mother and son duo were arrested Monday on firearm charges, according to sheriff’s deputies.
Raymond Pinkham, 21, and his 49-year-old mother, Louise Cook, both of Buxton, are both being held at the York County Jail on $25,000 bail, according to Chief Deputy William King of the York County Sheriff’s Office.
York County sheriff’s deputies, Buxton police and an Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms agent collaborated on the arrest.
Pinkham was charged with receiving stolen property, a Class B felony, as stolen property found at the residence included a firearm, King said.
Cook, a convicted felon, was charged with possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.
Both are scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 21.
