BANGOR — Darling’s announced that it launched on Dec. 8 its Holiday Lights Shows, at Darling’s Honda Nissan Volvo, 114 Sylvan Road in Bangor; and Darling’s Augusta, 439 Western Ave. in Augusta.
Both drive-in shows feature a wide assortment of lights and decorations choreographed to several seasonal songs, including “The Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies” and “Sleigh Ride.” While on the lots, visitors can hear the music by tuning their car radios to 95.1 FM in Bangor, and 88.1 FM in Augusta.
The shows will run daily 4-10 p.m. Monday through Thursday; and 4-11 p.m. Friday through
Sunday. The shows will run daily until New Year’s Day.
“We always try to do something fun this time of year, and in the past we’ve participated in some of the local parades, but we really wanted to do something entertaining that will thrill our customers, friends and neighbors for the entire month, not just an hour,” said Ron Russell, director of operations at Darling’s in Bangor.
The light display includes thousands of lights, as well as new features such as Cosmic Color
Ribbon Trees.
“We’re proud to be able to offer this show again for the third year,” said Lynne Darling, project manager for the holiday lights shows. “We’re really excited to be able to put this on and we’re hoping lots of our customers and friends will stop by to check it out and just enjoy the sights of the season with us.”
