POLAND, Maine — Six people have been arrested in connection with a Thursday home invasion in Androscoggin County, according to police.
Arrested were Lee Brown, 49, of Mechanic Falls; Adam McIntosh, 31, of Freeport; Shawna Wilson, 37, of Mechanic Falls; Diana Driscoll-Connolly, 39, of Mechanic Falls; Christian Bove, 35, of Mechanic Falls and Terry Small, 47, of Mechanic Falls, according to Lt. Glenn Holt of the Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a residence on Page Road on Thursday night for a home invasion report, and a male resident suffered a head injury and was transported to a local hospital, Holt said. He has since been discharged.
The lieutenant said the robbery was not a random act and appears to be drug-related, and local residents should not be concerned for their safety.
Brown was charged with robbery and aggravated assault, McIntosh, Wilson, Small and Driscoll-Connolly each with robbery and Bove for unlawful possession of a scheduled drug, according to Holt.
More charges are expected when the case is presented to a grand jury.
