Game notes: With semester exams behind them, the Black Bears head back on the road trying to snap a three-game losing streak. UMaine, which lost 85-74 at Boston College on Dec. 11, is 0-6 on the road this season. Coach Bob Walsh’s ballclub continues to emphasize defense, having allowed 82.4 ppg on 53 percent shooting thus far. The Bears encounter a Black Knights squad that is coming off an 85-77 overtime victory at Southern California on Dec. 13. Army’s Wilson, a 40-percent shooter from 3-point range, is fifth in the country in scoring. UMaine is still struggling to get back to good health as freshman guard Kevin Little, who has missed the last five games with an ankle injury, and Pirovic, who sat out the last game, are both doubtful for this contest. The Bears also are without redshirt junior forward Ethan Mackey, who has left the team.
