WALLAGRASS, Maine — Speed and road conditions were factors in a single-vehicle accident Monday afternoon on Aroostook Road, according to Aroostook County Sheriff Darrell Crandall.
Brandee Pelletier, 18, of Wallagrass was heading north just after 2 p.m. in a 1996 Dodge Ram pickup truck when she failed to negotiate a curve and lost control of the vehicle, which then left the roadway and rolled over, coming to rest on the roof, Crandall said.
Pelletier, who was alone in the truck and was wearing her seat belt, was evaluated at the scene by medics but was not injured in the crash.
Deputy Sheriffs Matt Cummings and Reid Clark were assisted at the scene by Maine State Police Trooper Andrew Levesque and members of the Eagle Lake Fire Department and Ambulance Service Inc.
