SANFORD, Maine — Voters in the Sanford School District will head to the polls today to decide whether or not to build a new high school and tech center.
If approved, this would be the most expensive state-funded school construction project in Maine’s history, with a price tag of $92 million.
The project would replace the existing high school with a brand new one, as well as a new technical center.
Polls are open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the following locations:
— Nasson Community Center, Springvale
— St. Ignatius Parish Hall, Sanford
— Curtis Lake Christian Church, Sanford
