GRAY, Maine — A truck driver suffered minor injuries Tuesday after his tractor-trailer left the northbound lanes of the Maine Turnpike in Gray, Department of Public Safety spokesman Stephen McCausland said.
Timothy Lukas, 58, of New Hampshire was hauling paper products when he lost control around 12:30 p.m., McCausland said.
The truck wound up alongside the road between guardrails and a rock ledge but stayed upright, McCausland said.
The truck is owned by S.J. Transport in New Hampshire. It is unknown why Lukas lost control.
Traffic was down to one lane for much of the afternoon but the wreck has been removed and traffic is now flowing.
