LOS ANGELES — Justin Bieber will be the subject of Comedy Central’s next roast, the network announced Tuesday.
“Justin has been asking us for a few years to roast him, and we just kept telling him to go create more source material first. We’re thrilled he listened,” said Kent Alterman, president, Content Development & Original Programming, Comedy Central.
The pop star’s offstage antics have made him an easy target for satirists for years — most recently “Saturday Night Live” took aim at Bieber’s Calvin Klein underwear ads with a series of sketches featuring Kate McKinnon as the 20-year-old.
The roast’s tape and air dates have not yet been announced.
