Senior Expo BANGOR — Eastern Area Agency on Aging announced it will partner with Bangor Daily News to bring the 2015 Senior Expo to Cross Insurance Center. The ninth annual Senior Expo, which offers networking, vendor services, informational and educational sessions, health screenings and practical solutions for Maine seniors, will be held 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday, May 22. New CEO BANGOR — UCP of Maine’s board of directors announce that it appointed Scott Tash as its new chief executive officer. Tash comes to the CEO role with several years of leadership experience, most recently serving as interim CEO for UCP of Maine since January 2014 and previously serving as UCP’s chief operating officer and chief financial officer since 2012. UCP of Maine’s children services include home and community treatment, early childhood services, rehabilitative and community support, behavioral health homes, and outpatient therapy. Adult services include mental health outpatient, adult residential and telehealth. For children and adults, UCP of Maine offers case management and the Elizabeth Levinson Center, a 14-bed Intermediate care facility in Bangor. New staff member BREWER — Penobscot Community Health Care announced recently that Nurse Pracititoner Michelle  LaCombe, has joined the medical staff of PCHC’s Brewer Medical Center, 735 Wilson St. LaCombe, a graduate of Brewer High School, received an undergraduate degree from Husson University and a master’s degree in nursing also from Husson University. Before joining PCHAC, LaCombe worked as an inpatient and outpatient psychiatric nurse practitioner and before that an emergency room care manager for eight years.
