BANGOR, Maine — No serious injuries were reported in a three-car accident in Bangor on Thursday morning, Sgt. Tim Cotton said Friday.

A passenger who was ejected from one vehicle, Amanda Ellis, 21, suffered injuries not considered life-threatening and was treated and released from Eastern Maine Medical Center, according to Cotton.

Ellis was a passenger in a car driven by Tyler Parsons, 22, which struck a vehicle driven by William Mason, 52, when Parsons failed to yield, according to Cotton.

The sergeant said Parson failed to yield to a stop sign on Davis Road and struck Mason’s’ vehicle, and the impact sent Mason’s vehicle into a vehicle driven by Lacey Austin, 18.

Cotton said Ellis was transported to the hospital.

Parsons was summoned for failure to yield. Austin was not injured.
