GARDINER, Maine — Police are looking for a man who robbed the Rite Aid on Wednesday.

According to a statement from Gardiner police, the lone robber walked into the store around 2 p.m. with his face concealed, went to the pharmacy counter and reportedly demanded drugs.

The suspect fled the store upon obtaining drugs, according to the statement, getting into a vehicle that appeared to be waiting for him on Spring Street.

The vehicle is described as a green two-door Pontiac Sunfire. The suspect stands 5 feet 9 inches tall and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.

Anyone with information on the robbery should contact Gardiner police at 624-7076.
