HERMON, Maine — Firefighters responded to a house fire on Route 2 Sunday night that required assistance from neighboring fire departments, a Penobscot Regional Communications Center dispatcher said.
The call for help was made at 6:51 p.m. from 2715 Route 2, which is located near Annis Road. The dispatcher said at 7:30 p.m. that the fire was knocked down.
