CARIBOU, Maine — Houlton’s Kyle Bouchard and Washburn’s Kenny Irving each scored 26 points to power the Red team to a 113-93 victory over the Blue team in the 25th annual Aroostook County Senior All-Star games Thursday at Caribou High School.
In the girls game, Washburn’s Mackenzie Worcester scored 19 points to lead the Pink team to a 79-74 win over the Blue Team.
In the boys game, Katahdin’s Todd Young chipped in with 14 points for the Red team while Washburn’s Cameron Bragg added 12 and Easton’s Nick Clark and Dominic Roy each put in 10.
For the Blue team, Fort Fairfield’s Robbie Watson and Ashland’s Cody Blair of Ashland each had five 3-pointers on their way to 20 and 18 points, respectively. Washburn’s Noah Farley and Fort Fairfield’s Johnny Theriault scored 11 each, and Justin Sytulek of Van Buren added 10.
In the girls game, Fort Fairfield’s Meg Jellison chipped in with 11 points for the Pink team while Van Buren teammates Felisha Bouchard and Courtney Parent each netted 10.
Presque Isle’s Krystal Kingsbury poured in 28 points to lead the Blue team. Southern Aroostook’s Kennedi Smith added 16, including four 3-pointers, and Easton’s Kalie Ward put in
10.
Players representing 17 County schools competed in the games, which benefited the Aroostook League Scholarship Program.
