BRUNSWICK, Maine — A Brunswick man is facing a drug charge after the state’s fourth methamphetamine lab of 2015 was unveiled on Wednesday, according to officials.
Aric Hall, 34, is accused of unlawful trafficking in methamphetamine, a Class B felony, according to Maine Drug Enforcement Agency Cmdr. Scott Pelletier.
MDEA agents, along with Brunswick and Lisbon police, had been investigating meth manufacturing by Hall for the past month, according to Pelletier.
On Wednesday afternoon, Hall was approached by drug agents after they found him sitting in his vehicle at the Lowe’s parking lot on Bath Road, according to Pelletier.
The MDEA commander said Hall was cooperative with authorities, informing them there was an active “one pot” laboratory in his vehicle. Other items indicative of meth manufacturing were located in the vehicle as well, he said, and Hall was arrested without incident.
The lab was dismantled by the MDEA’s Clandestine Laboratory Enforcement Team, Pelletier said. He added that a search of Hall’s residence also was conducted but no meth manufacturing evidence was found there.
Hall was taken to Cumberland County Jail, and bail was set at $500.
