HARRISON, Maine — A mobile home was destroyed by fire early Friday morning at 166 Plains Road.
Homeowners James and Sally Riman, 63 and 64, respectively, were able to escape the blaze but were brought to Stevens Memorial Hospital in Norway having suffered minor injuries, Harrison Fire Chief Dana LaPlante said Saturday.
Both were treated and released, according to the fire chief.
LaPlante said three of the couples’ four cats were missing.
The fire was reported about 1:30 a.m. Friday, he said. Firefighters were on the scene until about 6 a.m.
LaPlante said the trailer was so damaged that a cause could not be determined.
The Rimans are staying with friends and are being assisted by the Red Cross, the fire chief said.
