NORTHFIELD – Lois A. Beaulieu, 65, passed away April 9, 2015, in the comfort of her home. She was
born August 1, 1949, in Greenville, ME, the daughter of Robert W. and Nina M. (Ward)
Crossman.
Lois attended high school in Attleboro, MA, before settling in Machias for her college
education and career in teaching. Her voice was heard throughout Machias Memorial
High School for over 30 years as she taught generations of students typing and business
skills while policing the halls. Following her teaching career, Lois enjoyed time in Las
Vegas, Florida and regular vacations in Aruba during long Maine winters. Her presence
in a room never went unnoticed, often her wit and sense of humor drew people to her.
She is survived by her husband, Norman J. Beaulieu; her children, Thomas Michaud Jr.,
his wife, Amanda, and their son, Colby, and Jesse Michaud and his daughter, Laela; stepdaughter, Jeannie Buza, her husband, Stephen, and their children, Emily, Joshua, David and
Samuel; stepson, Jason Beaulieu and his wife, Jenna; and siblings, Robert “Kim” Crossman
and his fiancee, Peggy Mahar, and Kevin Crossman and his wife, Kathy. Lois is also survived
by the father of her children, Thomas Michaud Sr. and his partner, Elaine Headley; and
many nieces, nephews, extended family and close friends.
Lois will most certainly review this and note my numerous grammatical mistakes.
