HOLDEN, Maine — All three of the candidates on the town’s June 9 local election ballot are running unopposed.

David “Rod” Black is seeking re-election to another three years on the Town Council, according to the sample ballot posted on the town’s website.

Seeking the pair of three-year openings on the RSU 63 board are incumbent Jennifer Newcomb and Suzanne Wieland. Joy Knowles, whose position is expiring, has opted not to seek another term.

The polls at the Holden Municipal Building are open 7 a.m.-8 p.m.
