ZEPHYRHILLS, FLORIDA – Kenneth David Sullivan, 85, of Zephyrhills, Florida, passed away surrounded by his loving family at Gulf Regional Hospice on May 9, 2015. He was born April 29, 1930, in Eastport, Maine, the son of Thomas and Juanita (Palmer) Sullivan.
On August 30, 1952, he married Barbara Ruth Mitchell and they enjoyed 62 years together. He attended Eastport Schools and served in the Air Force for 20 years, where he became a Sargent serving in England during World War II; in Greenland; and at Loring AFB. He was also a recruiting representative for Washington County. After retiring from the Air Force in 1968, he worked as an insurance salesman for Prudential. He enjoyed hunting, golfing, antiquing, reading a good western and spending time with his family.
He was predeceased by his brothers, Philip, Thomas (Butch), Ralph; and a sister, Myrthro Sabean. He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara and their six children, Kevin Sullivan and wife, Lovely of Philippines, Pamela Violette and husband, Mark of Knoxville, TN, Timothy Sullivan and wife, Lisa of Zephyrhills, FL, Diane Cliff and husband, Lee of Hermon, ME, Lori Savage and Lynn Sullivan, both of Portland , ME; sixteen grandchildren, Shelley, Joseph, Jacob, Bebeng, Ike, Kelley, Jeffrey, Alexander, Blake, Krystyn, Kimberly, Tomas, Jennifer, Jeremy, Kyle and Cody; five great-grandchildren, Tyler, Taylor, Tara, Noah and Blake.
