PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — Members of the Presque Isle Fire Department rescued an individual from Arnold Brook Lake in Presque Isle Thursday after a canoe capsized.
Capt. Vince Baldwin said that a caller reported the incident at 9:20 a.m., saying a person was hanging onto the canoe.
Additional details about the identity and condition of the person were not immediately available.
Fire department personnel were assisted by the Presque Isle Police Department and Allen Dudley from the Maine Warden Service.
