HAMPTON, New Hampshire — On Saturday morning, the New Hampshire Marine Mammal Rescue team removed a female gray seal from Hampton Beach.
The team says after getting several phone calls about her they learned that she has been on the beach since Friday morning.
New Hampshire Marine Mammal Rescue says she was suffering from alopecia (hair loss) over about 45% of her body, skin parasites, and a swollen and painful left hind flipper joint.
She was taken to the National Marine Life Center in Buzzards Bay, Massachusetts where she will receive the care and medicine that she needs.
