The ninth annual Senior Expo, which offers networking, vendor services, informational and educational sessions, health screenings, and practical solutions for seniors in Maine, will be held 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday, May 22, at the Cross Insurance Center. Admission is free. Downeast Direct Cremation is the title sponsor of the event. The breakout session schedule:

- St. Joseph Healthcare, “Aging Gracefully” with Dr. Scott Deron, cardiologist, 11:30 a.m.
- Rudman and Winchell, “10 Things to Know about MaineCare Planning,” 12:30 p.m. Attorney Jennifer Eastman will present facts and tips for MaineCare planning for long term care needs, including asset and income limits, the five-year lookback period, and the truth about estate recovery.
- Alan Wittenberg, Surry Music Therapy, “Music as Therapy: Music, Memory and Quality of Life,” 12:30 p.m.
- Lisa Dunning and Erin Coltvet, “How To Get Osteo-arthritis Pain Under Control,” 1:30 p.m.Put pain in its place with the tools to manage pain and live better. Developed by experts at the Arthritis Foundation in conjunction with the National Council on Aging. Understand osteo-arthritis, its causes and how to treat it.

- St. Joseph Healthcare, “Endocrine Health and Wellness” with Dr. Ana X. Mendoza Salazar, endocrinologist, 2:30 p.m.
- Dr. Michael Noonan, Noonan Wellness and Chiropractic. Natural alternatives for common health problems, such as high blood pressure, indigestion, arthritis and cholesterol, 3 p.m.
- Rudman Winchell, “Introduction to Estate Planning,” 3:30 p.m. Attorney Joy Trueworthy will discuss the foundational documents of a basic estate plan, including advance health care directives, financial powers of attorney, and last wills and testaments. With each of those documents, she will describe its purpose, importance, and what factors to consider when preparing those documents.
- Camden International Film Festival, Aging in Maine Screening Tour, four short films from the Living with Alzheimer’s Film Project, as well as, “The Age of Love,” Prison Terminal” and “Age of Champions. All day.
- Downeast Direct Cremation, presented by a licensed Funeral Service Practitioner. Question and answer session. All day.
