LYMAN, Maine — A pair of juveniles are facing burglary and theft charges in connection with a burglary at Ed’s Grove in York County, according to a statement from the Maine State Police.
The investigation was launched on May 9 when the boys, whose names and ages were not disclosed, allegedly entered the business by breaking out a store window, the statement said. Numerous knives were stolen from the business.
On Monday, police interviewed the boys, who admitted to being involved in the burglary, and three of the stolen knives were recovered from one suspect, the statement said.
Police arrested one juvenile and transported him to the Long Creek Juvenile Center in South Portland while the other was released to the custody of his parents.
A court date for the boys has not been set.
