OLD ORCHARD BEACH, Maine — The Old Orchard Beach town manager’s office says Marine Mammals of Maine have rescued a seal pup that was found separated from her mother.
According to a town office employee, the seal pup made her way up the beach to the benches Monday night and was seen “suckling sand.”
The seal has been transported to the Mystic Aquarium in Connecticut.
