WINDHAM – Patricia “Patty/Mammy” Ann Edwards, 72, died Monday June 8, 2015, at Maine Medical Center in Portland. She was born December 3, 1942, in Old Town, a daughter of Albert and Helen (Fendle) Gauthier.
Patty grew up in Old Town and moved to Portland at age 17 where she settled in as a homemaker. She loved country music and most of all spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Patty is survived by her loving husband of 44 years Robert W. Edwards; children, Tricia Vazquez and her husband Elton of Otisfield, Robert Edwards and his wife Tina of Gorham, and Sandra “Sandy” Couvee and her husband Neil of Bedford, MA; brother, Philip Gauthier and his wife Shirley of Manchester, MA; sister in-law Barbara Gauthier of California, grandchildren, Elicia, Tina, Tylor, Nicky, Bobby, Chelsey, Makayla, Hank, and Ben; great grandchildren, Mason, Ahlaynnah, and Cameron; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held 2:00PM Saturday June 13, at the Dolby Funeral Chapel, 434 River Road, Windham. Friends are invited to a period of visitation from 1:00PM until the start of the service.
