Farmington’s Cassius Clark and Turner’s Mike Rowe know what it takes to win a Pro All-Stars Series Super Late Model North race at Hermon’s Speedway 95.

They have each taken the checkered flag at the one-third mile asphalt oval and will be looking to add to that list on Sunday beginning at 1:30 p.m. when the heat races begin leading up to the Hight Chevrolet/Buick/GMC 150.

Clark won last year’s Hight Chevrolet/Buick/GMC 150, the first PASS race at Speedway 95 since 2009.

He said that ever since he began racing Legends cars at Speedway 95, “the track has always suited me pretty well. One of the reasons is I’ve always had good cars and I’ve been able to capitalize.

“I feel comfortable there and always look forward to going back,” he added.

“I like it up there,” said Rowe, who is leading the PASS SLM North and Northeast Challenge points standings thanks to two wins through the first five races.

For the first time, PASS drivers can challenge for points in all 16 races or just the 12 races that are held at New England tracks.

“To win, you have to be patient and stay out of trouble,” said the 64-year-old Rowe, who captured a PASS race at Speedway 95 in 2005 by nudging out Hallowell’s Johnny Clark and Cassius Clark in a thrilling last-lap duel.

He crossed the finish line .066 seconds ahead of Johnny Clark.

Rowe has been happy with his start and credited his crew for his success.

“I’ve got good people working on the car and that has made a difference. The car has been running good,” said Rowe, who had his Chevy rebuilt over the winter.

Clark has yet to crack the top five in a PASS race this season but has three top-10s and is sitting fourth in the points.

“We’ve had a little bit of bad luck. I started in the back of the pack in some early races and ran out of time working my way up to the front. I was leading the race in Canada [Autodrome Chaudiere, Quebec] and my battery died. We had a fender-bender at Thunder Road [Vermont],” said Clark. “We’ve got a new car, and we’re getting it figured out a little better every week.”

Six-time points champ Johnny Clark, four-time titlist Ben Rowe, Mike’s son; Morrill’s Travis Benjamin, the 2012 champ; 2014 points king D.J. Shaw and Berwick’s Joey Doiron are among the other favorites in the race.

There also will be a PASS Mods race and an Outlaw Super Series race.
