NEWTON, Iowa — Fort Kent driver Austin Theriault recorded a 12th-place finish in a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race Friday night at Iowa Speedway.

Polesitter Erik Jones won the American Ethanol 200 after leading for 112 laps.

Brandon Jones finished second and was followed by Tyler Reddick, Matt Crafton and Christopher Bell.

The 21-year-old Theriault started in 18th for the Brad Keselowski Racing team but was able to direct his Ford to the 12th-place finish in the 32-truck field.

The race capped three straight weeks of races for Theriault for BKR as he finished fifth at Texas Motor Speedway on June 5 and 10th at Gateway Motorsports Park in Illinois on June 12.

Theriault is competing in 13 races this season for BKR.
