BANGOR, Maine — Community members will have a chance to mingle with the Bangor Police Department on Wednesday, as the department will host Coffee with a Cop.
The event kicks off at 8 a.m. at the Broadway Tim Horton, and will give the public a chance to discuss community issues and drink coffee with Bangor police officers, according to a department statement.
The program aims to advance the practice of community policing through improving relationships with a police department and the city it serves.
