CORINTH — Corinth will hold its Corinth Old Home Days celebration Saturday and Sunday, July 11-12
The schedule of events is:
Saturday, July 11, at Central Middle School fields:
- 7-9 a.m., community breakfast at Corinth Methodist Church.
- 9 a.m., parade line up at Dunham’s Well Drilling and Morison Avenue.
- 10 a.m. parade begins; ends at Corinth Methodist Church.
- 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Corinth Historical Society open to visitors.
- 11 a.m.-1 p.m., car show, prizes awarded at 1 p.m.
- 11 a.m.-4 p.m., free family entertainment, music, games. food, craft fair and vendor tables.
- 11 a.m.-noon, Maine State Game Warden Service.
- 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., Damsel in Defense, self defense demonstration.
- Noon and 1:45 p.m., North Eastern Winds Belly Dancers.
- Noon-1 p.m., Logan Rouse the Magician.
- 1-2 p.m., Pan Storm Steel Drum Band.
- 2 p.m., Maine State Police canine corps demonstration.
- 3 p.m., competition games.
- 4-6 p.m., Corinth Fire Department chicken barbecue with live music by Meghan Clark.
Sunday July 12: Country Dirt Digger 3K Obstacle Course Race
- 1 p.m., registration. Registration fee, $25, $12 children 12 and under.
- 1-4 p.m., Jump City Social Club with Anna Roman.
- 2 p.m., adult race begins.
- 3 p.m., youth race begins. Youth race will be adult led.
Prizes will be awarded after the youth race is completed
